eBay Templates
With more and more retailers using eBay as an additional platform for their business, we thought it would make sense to integrate eBay with Ingenii. The eBay Template Manager has four separate sections...
Edit Template Settings
Ability to select a header and footer graphic, as well as control the colour of the page background. Option to enter invaluable auction information such as your shipping policy, returns policy, descriptions policy, taxation information, as well as a custom area where you can include other information such as powerseller logos, trust logos etc. All areas have their own WYSIWYG HTML editor built in.
Edit Style Sheets
To prevent your eBay auction from looking like every other auction on eBay (ie dark blue Times New Roman links!) you have a set of preset font stylesheets which you can edit to alter colours and sizes. These styles are automatically included when you create your auctions.
Saved Auctions
Displays a full list of all your saved auctions created by the eBay Templates manager. This section includes a choice of displaying the a full HTML preview of the finished auction, displaying the full HTML source code (which you then copy and paste directly into eBay) or deleting a particular auction from your database.
New Auction
Allows you to create a brand new eBay auction listing. This area is a simple X step process...
Step One - enter the product ID for the item
Step Two - automatically pulls the information in from your database and displays it along with the header, footer, and all relevant policies, allowing you to make changes to the product description and add further information if required.
Step Three - preview the finished auction, with an option to either Save, Make Changes or View HTML source code
Once an auction has been created successfully, it's simply a case of listing a new product within eBay and pasting in the HTML Source Code provided by the eBay Template Manager.
