New Additions
There are two reasons to keep your store content fresh - the first is to ensure that your customers always have something new to consider when visiting your store, encouraging them to stick with you because you're making sure that you always keep on top of the market and current trends.

The second, and arguably the most important, reason for adding new products regularly is to keep the search engine spiders coming back for more. With every new product you add to your site, you're looking at a minimum of TWO new pages for the search engines to index. That's not including any links that those new products may contain.

For that reason, there are three separate areas for new additions on your store, all of which are optional of course. The first, is an array of products along the top of your store using mini thumbnails so that up to four NEW products are on display at any given time. The second is a single random product within the "new additions" area on the side of your store. Every time a link is clicked (or followed by the search engine spider), this random new addition will change. Again, this not only lets your customer base know about your new products, but also gives the search engine spiders something new to index and follow.

The third area is more comprehensive. A single link to the "New Additions" on your store brings up a page containing ALL products added to your store within the last 31 days. Along the top of this page is a mini navigation menu, allowing your customers to view products added within a particular week by selecting either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 from the menu.
