Stock Control
The Stock Control area of your Ingenii store allows you to, first of all, create your initial stock settings which not only include the option to turn the stock control on and off, but you can also set your store to show an actual inventory level alongside each product. If you have 4 left of one product, then your customers will automatically be shown this figure. This inventory figure may actually encourage a customer to purchase immediately if the number is low, rather than take a chance and come back later, only to find that the item has since sold out.

You also have the option to receive "Stock Level Warnings" by email, as soon as the stock levels reach one of three different levels determined by you. The three levels are Level One (Low Stock), Level Two (Urgent Stock Status) and Level Three (Critical Stock Status), and each of the actual stock level numbers are set by you, for example... if you want to be notified when your stock levels reach only 20 products available, then you would set your Level One number to 20. To be notified when your inventory level reaches only 10 for an individual product then your Level Two number would be set to 10. Obviously, setting your Level Three (Critical) stock level to 0 would be too late and so it's recommended that you have this set to perhaps 3 or 5 products. Once you receive that Critical stock warning by email, assuming you don't sell hundreds of these items per day, then you know it's time to replenish this stock.

Once a product stock level reaches zero, the software will automatically change its status to "Coming Soon", allowing the Availability Notification function to kick in. This allows your customers to be emailed automatically whenever a particular product becomes available to purchase once again.
