Store Backups
The optional Store Backups module comes as two separate areas for your store.

The first, the Backup Store Software module, allows you to take a full backup of your actual store. By "store" we mean the HTML pages that you may have created through the Dynamic Pages Manager, all of your graphics, your skins, your product images, and the actual software which allows your store to operate.. in fact, everything that you see when you visit the store.

This won't, however, back up the actual store data such as the product information or customer accounts. The second module, the Backup Databases area, takes care of this for you by performing a full backup of your entire database into one single file. This covers you for orders, customer accounts, product data, created newsletters, mailing lists, wish lists... everything that is stored within your database will be included within the backup.

In both cases the backups can be saved directly to your hard drive, allowing you to keep a local copy in case you ever have to rebuild your store. You also have the ability to create these backups as often as you like, whether it's daily, weekly, monthly or... if you're really paranoid... hourly!
